Cinco De Mayo isn’t just for four-leggers anymore. Foxy Paws Dog Boutique is throwing a Furry Fiesta to benefit Chihuahua Rescue.
Dallas, TX- April 16, 2008. Foxy Paws is celebrating Cinco De Mayo with a furry fiesta that will benefit The Chihuahua Rescue. The Fur Fiesta is Sunday May 4th 2008 at Foxy Paws on level one in The Shops at Willow Bend Mall from 1:00-4:00 pm.
The posh dog boutique will crown the “Most Festive Chihuahua in Texas”. The lucky pup will be crowned Mr. or Mrs. Chihuahua De Mayo and receive a $25.00 gift card and a free pet portrait.
Pet photographer Christi Jordan will be available to photograph you and your pup from 1:00-4:00pm**. Photography clients will enjoy Sangria & Snacks; but, the fun does not stop there. The event will also include Pin the Tail on the Cat, Mexican Hat Dance, and Ay Chihuahua Bingo.
“We wanted to celebrate Cinco de Mayo and help a good cause,” said Michelle Lamont President of Foxy Paws. “We love to have fun with our customers and our events draw huge crowds” continued Lamont. This year were inviting everyone to join in a great day of fur, fun, and laughs while helping to raise money for Chihuahua Rescue.

Foxy Paws is a division of Nixon’s Top Inc. The company has two locations: The Dallas Galleria and The Shops at Willow Bend Mall in Plano, TX. The company was founded in 1999 after Steve Pettit and Michelle Lamont lost their beloved dog Nixon. The company has won numerous awards from different charities and local publications. They have also been featured in print and television both nationally and locally.
